How do I create an account?
Registration is free and quick.
Click on the “Sign Up” link on the top of the page.
Enter the required information, including a username, password and e-mail address.
You will receive a confirmation email containing a confirmation link.
Use this link to confirm your email address with clipser.com.
Now your account is active. You’ve become a Clipser!
How can I upload my videos on clipser?
First, you have to create an account to add a video.
· Once logged in, an "upload videos" link will appear on the top navigation bar, select it.
· You now have to browse for the video you want to upload on your hard-drive.
· You will need to provide the file, title, category and tags/keywords. Once selected, press SUBMIT.
· The time it takes to upload your video will depend on your connection speed and the size of the video.
What video file formats can I upload?
clipser accepts video files from most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones in the following file formats:
avi = supported
mpg = supported
mov = supported, some times problems
wmv = some wmv versions are supported
avi = supported
mp4 = not supported now
asf = supported
3gp = some 3gp versions are supported
All videos will be converted to and displayed in .flv (flash) format.
What is the maximum size of a clip?
Less then 150 mb without time limit
How to select a thumbnail image?
When you upload a video, clipser takes an image from the start of the video and automatically displays it as the thumbnail image. If you are not happy with the current picture, click after upload on the "change image" link. Now you have the option, to change the current picture. You can change as much as you need or like.
How to share a video?
Sharing videos is easy. Just click on “Email to Friends” under the video player and enter the email addresses of whomever you want to send the video.
How to comment a video?
· In order to provide a safe and responsible community, commenting on videos is only available to registered users of clipser.
· Under the video player click on “Video Comments” then type your comment in the field and click “Post Comment”.
· If you are unable to post a comment but have registered, make sure you are logged in and remember, no INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS.
Adult Content
To view Adult content, you must be a registered user of at least 18 years old and logged in.
Inappropriate Content
Inappropriate content is content that violates our Terms and Conditions or is deemed pornographic, offensive, lewd, not appropriate for children under 18, hateful, and any other content that a reasonable person living in society would consider inappropriate.
Inappropriate content will be deleted from clipser.com immediately.
How to Flag Inappropriate Content
If, as a logged-in user, you see a video of which you think it contains inappropriate content, press “Flag as Inappropriate”.
We will then review this video and inform you about out measures.

How to rate a video?
As logged-in user, you can rate a video (not owned by you) using the rating option below a video when you play it by pressing the 5 “rating dots”.
A video's rating represents the average of all ratings it has been given by users since it was uploaded.
How do I tell my friends I have a new video?
clipser lets you notify all your friends and admirers when you've posted a new video. Here are three ways to let them know:
1. Share your video or your entire Playlist.
2. Have them subscribe to your Channel.
3. Post the video to your blog. |
